The Lay School offers laity flexible opportunites to meet their varied needs.
Two-Year Certificate Program
Classes are held on both Firday evening and Saturday,
one weekend a month for those desiring to complete the program in two-year's time.
Cost: $525.00 a year to include tutition & book fees.
Registration Fee: $150.00.
Only Friday Evening or Only Saturday Program
Laity may not able to commit to both
Friday and Saturday's classes due to work or other obligations, yet they desire to
complete the Lay School certificate program. Attending an evening or day, one weekend a
month, may be perfect them.
Cost: $275.00 tuition, plus book fees.
Registration Fee: $75.00.
One Class at a Time
For laity who are only interested in some of the classes we
provide, 3 "Tracks" - Bible, History, Faith and Spirituality are available. These classes
would apply to the certificate program, if the student desired to continue their learning
experience.
Cost: $150.00 tuition, plus book fees.
Registration Fee: $50.00.

Church History - Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.
Systematic Theology - Not offered in 2010-2011
Luther for Today - Friday Evening, 8:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Track 3 - Faith & Spirituality
Worship & Liturgy - Not offered in 2010-2011
*Defining & Deepening Your Spirituality - Saturday, 11:00 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.
*Discovering Spiritual Practices - Saturday, 11:00 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.

Scholarships are available on a limited basis. Students are encouraged to seek financial assistance from their congreagations before applying for an ECSW scholarship. Scholarships will be applied to tuition and fees only.
